Proudly South African, grew up in the rural and locations Northern Gauteng (Pretoria), and went on an Adventure to discover what more my mother land has hidden, and had to get a way to keep that moment he had everywhere and people he met.
After obtaining a Private Pilot License through Hoerskool Waterkloof Aviation Aca-demy and Aerosud Aviation, South African Airways granted him a Pilot development training scholarship and through 43 Airschool graduated with Commercial Pilots License, and a Frozen ATPL.
He Joined SA Red Cross Air Mercy Services as a co-Pilot, trained to be a Captain and completed his ATPL. Later was appointed to be a Base Aviation Manager and sole pilot to run the Lanseria Base.
He joined South African Airways as a First Officer. He moved on to the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) as a Flight Operations Inspector and Regulations Specialist Assistant.
Prior to his departure at SACAA in 2015 - he was recommended to ICCS as USOAP Auditor under the standards and pratices with the ICAO - Continuous Monitoring Approach Systems and ICAO Specialist with the of ICAO Coordination and Compliane Section and NDoT (Air Service Licence Technical Specialist under Flight Operations Divsion of CAA).

I am an Emergency Care Practitioner (B-Tech: EMC) by profession; with a passion for aviation and emergency medicine. I have a number of years of operational experience both on the road as well as in the air, with limited experience in the contract work industry.
I hold instructor status from the American Heart Association, and continue to instruct on the Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, International Trauma Life Support and Paediatric Advanced Life Support courses, as well as being a guest lecturer on the Aviation Healthcare Providers course, through various institutions.
My personal goals include, the completion of my MSc Med: Emergency Medicine, to tackle a Masters in Aviation Medicine, and attaining my private pilot's license, and later a commercial pilot's license.
I have been involved in the set-up and management of aero-medical rotary-wing programs and have been involved on a crew member level on South Africa's leading fixed-wing program.
I have more recently been involved in the management the SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service's Fixed-wing Service, based out of Lanseria International Airport. I am keen to be involved in the set-up and management of further aero-medical programs, as I believe that there is need for more of these programs that meet and ideally exceed the required standards, both locally and internationally.
I am also interested in the promotion of the EMS profession, and giving my fellow colleagues the opportunity to further themselves; taking into consideration the uncertainty at present in the training environment, and with all the latest developments that have taken place in the industry.
